I am so glad to ‘meet’ you. My name is Elise and I am a Dallas transplant from a small town right across the river from Memphis, TN. The two things I miss dearly about Memphis is the BBQ and Blues! You can catch me every morning listening to my gospel music- I take ‘em to church y’all!!
At a young age, I always imagined moving to Dallas and experiencing a fulfilled life. So that’s exactly what I did! I moved to Dallas in 2015 to plant Elise Woods Designs here and it has been the best decision that I have ever made.
Growing up, I was always drawn to the art of story-telling and nature. Of course growing up in Arkansas, I was surrounded by an abundance of nature. I found that I was most creative when being outdoors or at different art galleries. In 2013, I dove into the wedding and event industry as a design assistant for floral design and learned quickly that it was my calling! Fast forward many years, I have been published in Martha Stewart Weddings, Magnolia Rouge, Southern Bride, The Knot, and many others! It has been an amazing ride.
I based this floral design studio’s beliefs on making a couple’s day one-of-a-kind and different than anyone else’s big day. I believe that it is important to custom-tailor each and every detail of a couple’s wedding that they feel like they are reliving their love story throughout their wedding!
